Welcome to Tri-State Stone & Building Supply, Inc. We are a stone quarry and building supply dealer catering primarily to contractors. As always, we welcome those who are not affiliated with the construction industry, but please understand the following:

• Our yard is a very busy place. Please yield the right of way to trucks, loaders and forklifts. Please do not block trucks, machinery or material. If you are unsure where to park, please as for assistance. Never park on or block the scale.
• This is an industrial area with significant safety issues. Never assume that a truck or machine can see you or know what you are trying to do. You may be required to wait in a designated area while certain operations are conducted. Please be cooperative.
• Please have an idea of the material you want, its application and installation procedures. There are many resources available to you in publication and on the internet. We cannot give more than very basic information. Estimates concerning material quantities are exactly that – estimates – and we cannot be held to them. We cannot look at plans, help in design or address your specific problem. We have lists of contractors but do not make recommendations. Follow basic procedures such as checking references and getting more than one estimate when choosing your contractor.
• If your contractor has sent you here to pick out material, they should accompany you – that is part of the price you are paying them for their service. We cannot escort you around the property showing you various products.
• Material that is on pallets is sold by the full pallet only. Pallets must be loaded as they come. Pallets cannot be opened and loaded on site, nor can we leave any material "outside the gate" for pickup when we are closed. We are basically self-service, but can give you assistance in loading your vehicle as time and conditions permit. You may have to wait for this help. We cannot pick out material and load it for you.
• Except for mulch and topsoil, bulk materials are sold by weight. If you load without getting your empty weight, you will have to unload and start over.
• Remember that stone is a product of nature – variations in color, spotting and streaking are normal and should be expected. All material is sold as is. There are no returns or refunds ever – this is an industry standard. Please inspect all material before leaving the property.
• We accept payment in cash, check (with approval from Telecheck) and credit card (Amex, Visa, MasterCard). For your security, we do not keep credit card numbers on file or keep open checks. If your check is refused by Telecheck, you need to contact them to resolve the matter. For deliveries, payment by credit card is generally the most efficient course to take.
• Delivery lead time is generally 1 –2 days. In order to maintain this schedule and deliver to everyone promptly, we must deliver in the most efficient manner for us. We cannot give specific times or narrow time windows – often, morning or afternoon is the best we can do, and even that can change given issues beyond our control such as traffic, weather and breakdowns. We must have a contact phone number for time of delivery.
• We have contractor prices only ~ for everyone. Our level of service is commensurate with this pricing policy. We cannot give a high level of personal service and maintain this one price policy.
• While we have attempted to address most issues, this is not an all-inclusive list.
